Surgimed Solutions Terms & Conditions

1. Right to Review and Inspection
   Surgimed Solutions reserves the right to review control methods and inspect materials associated with this order at the supplier’s facility and any sub-tier facilities. Access rights shall be extended to our customers and representatives from Government or Regulatory Agencies.
    

2. Non-Conforming Products
   Any non-conforming product must receive prior approval from Surgimed Solutions before shipping. When pre-approved, the acknowledgment letter must accompany the shipment and be attached to the packing slip.
    

3. Notification of Product Changes
   Suppliers must notify Surgimed Solutions of any changes to the purchased product before implementation if the changes could affect the product’s ability to meet specified purchase requirements.
    

4. Certificate of Conformance (C of C)
   A Certificate of Conformance must be provided with each delivery, certifying that the ordered parts meet all requirements outlined in the Purchase Order or subcontract. The Certificate must be signed by an authorized representative.
    

5. Record Retention
   Inspection and test data shall be maintained on file by the supplier for a minimum of seven (7) years, unless otherwise specified in the Purchase Order.
    

6. Flow-Down of Requirements
   The supplier shall ensure that all applicable requirements, including key characteristics, are flowed down to sub-tier suppliers as applicable.
    

7. Calibration and Measurement Systems
   The supplier shall maintain a system to ensure adequate control over all gages, measuring tools, and testing equipment used for product acceptance. These systems must comply with ISO 10012-1 or an equivalent standard, and calibrations must be traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
    

8. Preservation and Packaging
   Unless otherwise specified, the supplier shall adhere to good commercial practices for preserving and packaging items supplied to Surgimed Solutions.
    

9. Employee Awareness
   Suppliers shall ensure their employees are aware of their contribution to product or service conformity, product safety, and the importance of ethical behavior.
    

10. Product Traceability
    If product traceability is specified in the Purchase Order, suppliers shall maintain all relevant purchasing information in the form of documents and records.
